MEET THE AUTHOR
Marcus is a former professional athlete that has spent time in the NFL and CFL. In his 12-year career, he has had the opportunity to speak on several stages and gain tons of experience and exposure within the underserved communities in which he came from.

In 2021 he met his lovely wife, and she changed the trajectory of his life. Marcus is passionate about empowering, equipping, and educating those that are coming behind him through writing, storytelling, and the way he lives his life.

Marcus and Leah live in Texas and have six beautiful children in an Ultimately Blended family. Diamond, Marcus Jr, Mariya, Morgyn, Rae, and Layla.

DIAMOND
College Student (SVSU)
Diamond Walker is the oldest of six in the Ultimate Blend family. She just finished her freshmen year at Saginaw Valley State University. She aspires to be an accountant and loves math. She speaks six different languages and is a pretty good chess player.
MARCUS JR
High School Student
Marcus is the only boy in the Ultimate Blend family family. he loves football and aspires to go to the NFL one day. He is entering his freshman year in high school and loves gaming with his friends. He is very competitive and displays passion in whatever he does.
Mariya
Middle School Student
Mariya is the most responsible one in the Ultimate Blend family. She loves math and excels in everything she does. She wants to get into fashion and loves capturing amazing photos. Her leadership ability will afford her any opportunity she wants. She's very thoughtful, kind, and considerate of others.
morgyn
Elementary School Student
Morgyn is fourth of the Ultimate Blend family of six. She is very reserved unless you're a friend of hers. She's sweet, kind, and soft-spoken. She's very athletic and loves doing any and all types of flips, with cheering being one of her passions.
rae
Elementary School Student
Rae is the fifth of the Ultimate Blend family. She is stern and determined. She loves to dance (ballet) and work out. She is outgoing but could be shy at times when around new people.
layla
Pre-School Student
Layla is the youngest of the Ultimate Blend family. She is very smart, kind, considerate, and determined. She loves to swim, gymnastics and is currently a Bluey fan.
